From journalism school to film school to Los Angeles, I’ve always been driven by the same things: curiosity, and then the organization of curiosity, which I think is an adequate definition of story. I want to know how things work and why people do what they do. I aspire to communicate the complexity of human beings in a clear, concise and engaging manner.
I write about detectives and their inversions, the criminals. I read everything, including romance novels and art criticism. I play rock’n’roll–I play loud. I am a die-hard Washington Nationals fan. One of these days we–yes, we–will win a playoff series.
